You can get a compass anywhere to show you direction, but I love the extra alarm clock and temperature features. Now, when I'm camping, I'm always up early enough for prime fishing time and I know what to put on before I hit the boat too. This compass give me every possible feature I could ever want, and I like having a thermometer and the time built into it.
