I love this because it makes recording a snap and I can record a lot more on one disc too than on a VHS tape. The timer function works great for my schedule, and it's so nice to be able to use the same DVD RW disc over and over again week to week. Katherine on 2004-08-07 I have a certain favorite TV show that I record and save every episode of, and let me tell you that all those VHS tapes start to take up a LOT of space. I always wished that I could record to DVD … and now I can! This works awesome, it is just as easy to use as my VCR and has even more features. I love having my recording be the exact same quality as the broadcast on TV! And, I'm saving space in my entertainment unit too, since I can watch DVDs, listen to CDs and record my TV shows all on the same unit. I like that I can record the games and then make copies for all my buddies too … a lot easier to do with a DVD than setting up two VCRs, which is a real pain.
