We started by recreating the details that made the originals so timeless. An authentic jukebox wouldn't be a jukebox without brightly colored electric-blue neon glowing around a curved bent wood frame. Then we went inside and added a Sony front-loading 3-CD player for multi-disc play just like the old jukebox turntables. And of course we made sure to install a sound system that'll make you want to dance. 2 10W full range speakers and 2 tweeters provide full stereo sound. When the electric current is unstable, the neon light generator cuts off electricity supply to avoid damage to both the neon light generator and the transformer. But even though the style is retro, the sound system is completely cutting edge. I was blown away by how great my music sounds on this. I've rediscovered my love of music! Christina on 2004-01-06 This is a real conversation piece. Every since I got one for my rec room, every single one of my kids' friends has declared it "totally awesome." I figured that for $400, I could go out and get the same stereo everyone else has or I could go with something completely original.
