Technology that speaks -- the Talking Calorie-Counting Pedometer -- the ideal gadget for dieters. It lets you know (by talking aloud) the number of calories you've burned, whether you're coming from an aerobic workout at the gym or doing push-ups in your backyard. It also tells you the number of steps you've taken, distance traveled, and how long you've walked or jogged. It's a must both for dieters and hard-core exercisers. And it has even more features: an auto-voice announcement that tells you calories burned, distance, step-count and time according to a preset interval. Intelligent counting ignores false step counts. The stylish Talking Calorie-Counting Pedometer fits on your belt to measure up to (1) 99,999 steps; (2) 99,999 calories; (3) 99 hours; (4) 199.99 miles. Makes a great gift for friends and relatives.

Those machines at the gym are handy because they give you a read-out of how many calories you've burned while you work out. I always wished I could have the same thing for all my outdoor activities like rollerblading and bike riding. So when I saw the talking pedometer, I had to have it. I wear it every time I do any kind of physical activity so I can really keep track of how much I'm burning and I like that it tells me out loud so that I'm not distracted by squinting at the display while I'm jogging in the sun. It's really helped me fine-tune my exercise plan.

I'm a waitress and I've always wondered just much walking I do on a shift. Being able to track not only how far I've walked on a shift but also how many calories I've burned really makes me feel a lot better about being in a profession where I'm on my feet all day. I get a lot of customers asking me about the Pedometer and when I show them how it talks, they are always delighted. I find it really useful for seeing just how much physical activity I actually get!

I like the Talking Pedometer best for when I'm weight training or doing classes at the gym. The cardio machines will tell me how many calories I've burned and how far I've gone, but there is nothing like that for my Pilates class or the resistance machines. With my Talking Pedometer, I can track my calorie burn no matter what activity I'm doing. And my son loves the way the machine talks to me when I'm out strolling with him too!
