In fact, the Cuckoo Clock as we know it today emerged during the early 1700s, from the Black Forest region of Germany, where many farmers spent harsh winters carving clock. But it was Franz Ketterer who in 1738 revealed his invention, that would change these Black Forest farmers' lives forever. And, just like these traditional 'Cuckoos', our clock has been hand carved out of hardwood. with a rich and lavish walnut finish. Later, the clocks are fitted with an advanced Polaris Quartz Movement, for optimal accuracy.
