And - as is the case with all Steinhausen watch boxes - the Monticello is entirely hand-crafted and finished with 24 layers of stunning high gloss piano lacquer. Also, under the lid are two drawers each storing 12 compartments fitted with watch pillows - a total of 24 watches can be stored in all. The entire case is lined with a faux white calf hide and a brass drawer knob, hinges and clock bezel accent the piece. So, now you can view your timepieces in a chest that encourages you to wear them again, by displaying them with pride. Available in cherry wood lacquer or zebrawood lacquer finish. This fits in beautifully with the traditional style of my bedroom and it makes me feel really proud to see how nice those watches look in it. I feel this does them justice.
